ASSIGNMENT
Over the past three months, Studs has hosted guest tattoo artists for in-studio pop-ups, exploring how tattoo culture could integrate into our core piercing business. Building on that momentum, we ran a spatial brand test at our Flatiron District location, reimagining the studio as a combined ear piercing and tattoo space. The art direction balanced Studs’ bright, clinical polish with a moodier, more tactile tattoo-inspired edge. The result demonstrated how the brand could expand its service offering while maintaining a cohesive and recognizable identity.
